The Twisp Creative District seeks an artist or designer to create an interpretive sign describing the Twisp Creative District, including a map of the district and its role in the local arts and cultural community. The sign will be installed in front of the Twisp Civic Building. A photo of the installation site will be provided.
Eligibility: Open to individual artists, designers, and artist/designer teams.
Budget: Total project budget: $2,000. This budget includes design, fabrication, and installation.
Submission Requirements:
• Portfolio or examples of relevant signage, graphic design, or interpretive display work
• Brief description of proposed design approach
• Proposed budget breakdown
• References (2 professional contacts)
• Please put all documents into a single PDF and submit to twispcreativedistrict@townoftwisp.com
Site Information: A photo and site dimensions for the installation location in front of the Twisp Civic Building will be provided upon request.
Timeline (Approximate):
• RFP Release: April 1, 2026
• Proposal Deadline: April 30, 2026
• Artist Selection: May 2026
• Design Development: Summer 2026
• Fabrication: Summer 2026
• Installation: Fall 2026
Selection Process: a Twisp Creative District selection committee will review Proposals. Finalists may be contacted for an interview or clarification before a final decision is made.
