Town Hall Podcast Resident
August – October 2021
Stipend: $3,000 + up to $1,000 producing budget
Each season, Town Hall’s Residency program offers local (Seattle and King County-based) Artists and Scholars an opportunity to nourish their creative disciplines and create work that foster dialogues among our audiences.
Starting our 2021 season, Town Hall is seeking a Resident to create 3-6 episodes of an original podcast. The podcast can be a new program or an extension of an existing podcast. Interview based podcasts, fiction, and nonfiction podcasts will be considered.
The Residency will culminate in a live end-of-tenure program that will be recorded and released as a live podcast episode.
Town Hall Seattle is prioritizing applicants that come from historically under-represented communities. Creators of color are strongly encouraged to apply.
The episodes that are produced as part of this residency will remain available on Town Hall’s website and podcast stream long-term.
Learn more about our Spring 2020 Podcast Residency “Life On The Margins” as well as our weekly podcast “In the Moment” on our Podcast Page.
