Artists of all disciplines are invited to propose live performances, temporary projects, and creative activations to populate a 3-kilometer route through downtown Seattle–Pioneer Square to Belltown–that includes urban parks, plazas, sidewalks, and empty storefronts for the inaugural Walk Dont Run event taking place outside, rain or shine, on Saturday, September 20, 2025, from 12:00 – 6:00 pm.
Inspired by NEPO 5K Don’t Run, which took place from 2011 to 2015, between the Chinatown-Interntional District and Beacon Hill home of artist Klara Glosova, Walk Dont Run is spearheaded by Kira Burge, in collaboration with Steven Severin, Alice Gosti, Philippe Hyojung Kim, Meli Darby, Olivia Neal Howell, and Jennie Kovalcik, and aims to spark downtown Seattle’s revival through fun, creative activities that put art at the center.

Paid Opportunity
Performance and exhibition fee amounts will vary based on proposal type and duration. Fees will typically be within the range of $50 – $2500 per performance or activation.
