The 2020 Fellowship Awards Open February 10: Guidelines and Grant Support Programs Now Available!

The application for our 2020 Fellowship Awards opens on February 10! The application deadline is March 9, 2020 at 11:59 p.m. PST. The guidelines are now live in case you’d like to get a head start on your application.

Artist Trust Fellowship Awards are merit-based awards of $10,000 for practicing professional artists of exceptional talent and ability residing in Washington State. These unrestricted awards are given annually to 8+ artists of any discipline in recognition of artistic excellence and dedication to their practice. The first Fellowship Awards were selected in 1987, making it Artist Trust’s longest-running award program.

Applying for grants can be hard, and we want to help you. Artist Trust offers the following support services and resources to guide you through the application process.

We offer Office Hours, which are 20-minute consultations with our staff, provided in-person or by phone. We have appointments you can register for on February 21. February 26, March 6, or March 13.

We also provide preliminary application review where you can submit your application through Submittable by February 24 and check the box to request preliminary review. Our staff will review your application and provide feedback by March 4. Your application is then opened for editing and must be resubmitted by the final deadline, March 9, 11:59 p.m. PST.
