We are proud to present our 2024 Annual Report, celebrating our ongoing work in support of Washington State artists.
Thanks to community members like you, last year we distributed $440,500 in funding to 134 artists statewide and reached thousands more through programming, networking, and resources. From Washington State’s urban centers to its rural towns, across mountains, waters, and communities, we supported artists whose work transcends boundaries and connects people across diverse landscapes.
The work of Priscilla Dobler Dzul is featured on the cover of this year’s report. Priscilla’s embroidery overlays colonial imagery with contemporary Mayan themes, a powerful act of reclamation for ancestral voices. Her work reminds us that even in the face of suppression, art has the power to restore, to heal, and to imagine what comes next.
By standing with artists, whether they are reclaiming cultural narratives, innovating in their fields, or creating through adversity, we are working toward a brighter, more just, and more equitable Washington for all. We know our work to support and sustain artists is far from finished, and as you read all we’ve accomplished together, we hope you will feel moved to support us in this critical moment!
