Alan Hurley

Alan Hurley received 2008 GAP Award funding for the time in which to finish a new series of paintings. His new works will be a translation of his inner life onto the picture plane. As his own model, Alan hopes to impart a personal form of visual storytelling. GAP Award funds will make it possible for him to spend less time on commercial projects and focus solely on the development of his new work.
