About

Anna Czoski has studied visual arts since she was young, starting with painting and drawing as well as cello performance. At University of Washington, she focused on mechatronic systems and 3D animation. After working for a serious game company, she continued her training in character animation through the school Animation Mentor. Throughout her time in and after college, Anna became an avid social dancer in salsa and argentinian tango among others. She combines her interest in dance and new media though interactive art. She stargazes whenever possible.

Anna received a 2013 GAP for materials and transportation for a sculpture that will be a piece in her upcoming show, in which all the works are dance-based with multiple elements such as a video and performance for each artist. The scuplture will be life-sized, created from a 3D CG model made by working with a dancer, and will focus on texture.
