Anne Petty

Anne Petty will use her 2011 GAP funding to help in painting and working from the figure. Her paintings and drawings are an examination of the relationships one has with others, their environment, and themselves, and are developed from direct observations of real people. As a figure painter this grant will help Petty to afford the cost of models, and additionally help in investing in lighting, props, and materials cost such as canvas, stretchers, paint and brushes.
