About
B.Lyte aka Bethany Montgomery is on a mission to Express, Expose, & Ignite! She is a spoken word poet and the creator of the non profit Power 2 The Poetry. Dedicated to mentoring youth and improving their mental health, community engagement, and using art to spread love.
B.Lyte is an Eastern Washington University (EWU) alumna, who was awarded a full athletic scholarship for basketball. Heart surgery cut her playing career short, forcing her to retire from the game she loved. Despite a difficult medical journey, she pushed forward to earn her bachelor’s degree and MBA.
Power 2 The Poetry is an extension of B.Lyte’s heart and soul. Her life’s purpose is spreading grace, love, and light through the power of spoken word. B.Lyte loves Spokane and is elated to continue her work in the city and beyond. B.Lyte offers many services such as keynote speaker, assemblies, workshops, mentorship programs, and consulting.
