About

Campana, hailing from Seattle, WA, first gained notoriety as the lead vocalist of the band COSMOS. The group achieved significant success after winning Seattle’s MoPop “Sound Off!” Battle of the Bands in 2016, leading to performances at major festivals like Capitol Hill Block Party and Bumbershoot. Their debut album, MOONSHINE, released in 2017, earned them a spot in the MUSICOLOGY battle at Prince’s Paisley Park. Campana later released several EPs and his debut solo album, Matter of Time, in 2021, which he also executive produced as a short film. This film was well-received, selling out multiple screenings and winning the “Audience Award” at Black Film Fest ATL. Matter of Time was featured in the Seattle Times’ “Top 16 Albums of 2021,” and the song “Tangled” appeared in an episode of Donald Glover’s Atlanta on FX. In 2025, Campana’s single “Soon” featuring and produced by frequent collaborator p. kruise, was featured within the Issa Rae-produced critically acclaimed film “One of Them Days,” starring Keke Palmer and SZA.
