Cheryl Slean

Cheryl Slean received a 2003 GAP to supplement income during a period devoted to the completion of a feature-length screenplay called Triptik. Slean expects to co-produce and direct this dramatic narrative, which is based on one of her own short stories. To date, she has written, directed, co-produced, and co-edited three short films with the support of her production company, Fin Films. The second film short, The Art of Waiting, has been screened at both national and international film festivals and has aired on US public television. It also won the Golden Knight award for Best Short at the Malta International Film Festival.

Cheryl also received a 2002 Fellowship.
