Christopher Solomon

Christopher Solomon has been a journalist, writer and essayist for 25 years—first as a staff reporter for the Seattle Times, then as a freelance magazine writer. In his career he’s written about everything from an international stolen bike ring, to major environmental issues, to profiles of sports figures, for publications including the New York Times Sunday Magazine, National Geographic, Outside magazine and others. His work has appeared seven times in the annual Best American Writing anthologies. He is at work on his first book, for Penguin Random House: a memoir of family, fathers and sons—and running. He lives in Twisp, in north-central Washington. .
