Cuong Vu received 2007 GAP Award funding to cover professional studio costs of recording the artist’s working band, the Cuong Vu Trio. The music will be comprised of seven of his most recent compositions for trumpet, bass, and drums, two of which were recently commissioned by the Festival of New Trumpet Music/Greenwall Foundation. He plans a CD release date of December 4, 2007.
