David Hoon Kim received 2010 GAP Award funding to make necessary renovations to his writing space so that he may complete a collection of eight interlinked stories about exiles, a cast of protagonists that includes a French archery student in Japan, a Swedish outcast in a Finnish town above the Arctic Circle, and a Dane of Japanese descent in Paris.
