About

Dianne Aprile (Issaquah) is a creative nonfiction writer and teacher on the faculty of Spalding University’s brief-residency MFA in Writing program. Prior to moving to Washington, Dianne and her husband co-owned a jazz club in Louisville, KY, where she produced a monthly music and reading series. As a Kentucky journalist, she shared a team Pulitzer Prize while on staff at The Courier-Journal and was an award-winning critic and columnist. The author of four books and a recipient of a 2011 Hedgebrook Women Writers Residency, Dianne is currently at work a memoir, a portion of which was nominated for a Pushcart Prize.
