Dierdre Patterson

Dierdre Patterson’s artistic journey is marked by a lifelong affinity for creativity, which formally manifested in her painting and sculpture practice in 2020. From early explorations in fashion design, sketching, and drawing, to launching her focused artistic career in painting and sculpture in her late 20s, Dierdre has continually evolved her craft. Residing in Tacoma, she co-founded CONCEPT, an experimental creative agency that focuses on curating exhibitions and special projects around art and design. Her artistic contributions include a public art installation with Seattle Restored and two murals at Sweetgreen’s first Seattle location. Her works noted for their deep engagement with the human experience, have been showcased in group exhibitions in Washington and Oregon and featured by Essence Magazine.
