Elliat’s current feature documentary Boys on the Inside follows Sarah, Christina and Sebastian over the span of 16 years as they look back at the discovery of their ‘boy’ identity in women’s prison and the long-term impacts of incarceration. Elliat has produced and curated arts conferences and festivals in the US, Denmark, Germany, Belgium and Greece with participants representing over 45 nationalities at Innovate Heritage, Femme Hive, The Bend-It Extravaganza, Copenhagen Queer Festival, IETM International Network for Contemporary Performing Arts, National Performance Network and DocCamp. As a media producer and event curator, faculty at the University of Washington teaching Ethics of Storytelling and facilitator for ArtsWa’s Change Leader Institute, Elliat is actively engaged in working with decolonizing media practices, creative economies, communication ethics and leadership, cultural policy and critical heritage.
