About
Eunsun Choi is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice spans interactive installation, kinetic sculpture, robotics, glass, ceramics, video, and sound. She holds a Ph.D. in Digital Arts and Experimental Media (DXARTS) from the University of Washington and an MFA in Combined Media from Hunter College, City University of New York.
Choi’s artistic practice explores the relationship between personal memory, human behavior, nature, and technology. Drawing from autobiographical experiences, cultural history, and everyday observations, she transforms intimate narratives into shared experiences that invite audiences to reflect on their relationships with themselves and the world around them. Her work often incorporates humor, empathy, and unexpected interactions to bridge the distance between humans, machines, and their environments.
Working across traditional craft and emerging technologies, Choi approaches art as a space for experimentation, questioning, and connection. Her multidisciplinary approach encourages audiences to reconsider familiar experiences from unfamiliar perspectives, opening possibilities for new interpretations and connections between individual and collective experiences.
