hannah ramone

Hannah Ramone is a Seattle-based songwriter, vocalist, keyboardist, and educator whose music explores healing, transformation, and authenticity. Raised in a musical family between Southern California and rural Montana, Ramone began performing in choirs, bands, and musical theater at a young age. Alongside their artistry, they built a career in education—teaching music in schools, nonprofits, and as a vocal coach—while also facilitating workshops in restorative practices. They hold a Bachelor of Music Education from Pacific Lutheran University and a Master’s in School Leadership from Harvard University.

Since moving to Seattle in 2005, Ramone has been an active presence in the city’s music scene, performing and recording with bands Friday Mile and Youth Rescue Mission, a sibling project. In 2020, Ramone embraced their neurodivergent, queer, and non-binary identity fueling a prolific period of creativity independently releasing solo albums Some Kind of Humanness (2020), For All We Know (2023), and the How To Love (Yourself) EP (2024).

In performance, they craft layered, intimate yet expansive soundscapes with piano, vocal loopers, and synths alongside longtime collaborator Matt Badger. They were a 2023 Sonic Guild Artist Grant finalist, a 2025 artist-in-residence at Doe Bay Resort on Orcas Island. They recently directed, starred in and released their first music video for Taught Me to Love—created with their sibling LŨKA—expanding their sonic vision into film.

They are also parent to a creative 9-year-old and teach vocal music and songwriting at The Northwest School as well as serve as a Music Director at Studio East and currently working on a new full-length album to be released in 2026.
