Jessica Mooney

Jessica Mooney is a short story and creative nonfiction writer, and an active member of the Lady Assassins Writing Group, who completed a writers-in-residency for Storefronts Seattle in 2011. Her work has been featured in publications such as Rivet Magazine, Arcade and City Arts Magazine. She is currently working on a short story collection, Parting Gifts for Losing Contestants. She is a Community Engagement Officer and project lead for the Creating Awareness Through Arts initiative (CATA) at the Office for HIV/AIDS Network Coordination team, a national project that aims to partner HIV clinical researchers with local artists in order to raise scientific literacy and engage disproportionately impacted communities in the biomedical research process.
