Jessixa Bagley

Jessixa Bagley received 2009 GAP Award funding to purchase an ergonomic drafting chair and a proper drawing desk. Her latest drawing series, Explore and Conquer, is another reflection on her penchant for duality. There is commentary on how silly it is that humans think they can control massive bodies of land, animals, people, and spaces. Jessixa’s intricate drawings are created through the use of very small pens, intricate line work, and painting with fine brushes.
