Karen Hsiao Savage

Karen Hsiao Savage received 2010 GAP Award funding to assist with costs associated with commissioning a new work by the prominent American composer Lowell Liebermann for her piano duo series 88 Squared, whose primary mission and history is the creation, performance, and promotion of relevant contemporary works for piano duo on national and international stages. The world premiere of the composition would serve as the featured event of Washington State University’s 2012 Festival of Contemporary Art Music.
