About

Melissa Cameron is an Australian-born artist jeweller. She holds an MFA in jewelry and metalsmithing from Monash University in Melbourne and a BA with honors in interior architecture from Curtin University in Perth. She has been the recipient of several grants from the Australia Council for the Arts, and awards that include a gold prize for metals and jewelry at the 2011 Cheongju International Craft Biennale in South Korea. Her works are in the collections of the National Gallery of Australia, the Arts Centre Melbourne and the Cheongju City Collection. Her work has been featured in Metalsmith, Jewel Book, Art Jewellery Today 3 and Lark Books’ 500 Silver Jewelry Designs.
