Michelle de la Vega

Michelle de la Vega is a multidisciplinary artist who uses an alloy of traditional and non-traditional art mediums: dance and performance art, steel fabrication, house building, and furniture design. Her work includes installation, sculpture and mixed media. She is a welder and uses a variety of materials in her visual work, branching into atypical materials relevant to the concept of a project.

In 2015, Michelle received a Fellowship to attend an arts residency at Millay Colony for the Arts.
