About

Born in Tokyo, Japan, studied art at Tama Art University, one of the major art schools in Japan. Worked for commercial design projects such Godiva Chocolate, Twining Tea, and taught art classes in Tokyo, Yokohama, and the Canadian Embassy.

Moved to PNW in the US in 2004. Since then, I have explored exhibition opportunities, starting from a small exhibition space in the Edmonds frame store through juried exhibitions, gradually expanding to the Greater Seattle, national and international exhibitions.

Exhibited my work over 35 states in the US, Canada, international museum in Japan, Dublin Biennale, National Weather Center Biennale, Whatcom Museum, Northwest Biennale, Art Olympia Biennale, Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum and Seattle Art Fair 2022. Recent solo exhibition includes at Traver Gallery. Corporate installation includes Amazon, GE, Nordstrom, Facebook-TBC.

Sea-Tac Airport, City of Portland, City of Seattle, City of Bellevue, Kent, Shoreline, Seattle Convention Center Summit Building, and Walla Walla Community College collected my work.

I won Artist-Grants from Puffin Foundation, NJ three times and Individual Artist Grant-The Santo Foundation, MO.
