About

Polina Tereshina is a painter born in Chelyabinsk, Russia. She moved to Washington in 2002 and has been living and working in and around Seattle since. She earned a BFA in painting and drawing from the University of Washington in 2013. Polina has exhibited her work in Germany, New Orleans, Portland, and Seattle. Her work draws from and conveys intimate feelings that cannot be put into words. It ranges from figurative to abstract, from flat to sculptural, but always with a distinct look and feel.

Polina Tereshina received 2016 GAP funding to create a series of large works on paper and linen.
