Richard Martinez

Richard Martinez grew up in the Pacific Northwest and has lived in Oregon, California, and Washington, as well as Texas. He earned a BFA from Southern Oregon University, and an MFA from the University of California, Davis. Richard is currently on faculty at Whitman College. Before this he was Associate Professor of painting at the University of Texas at San Antonio. Highlights of his exhibition history include solo shows at galleries in Houston and San Antonio, TX, as well as Portland, OR, and Sacramento, CA. His work has also been featured in numerous group exhibitions across the United States.
