Ricki Mason

Ricki Mason received 2009 GAP Award funding to hire additional artists to contribute to the post development phase of her project. “Lou Henry at Home” was an evening-length contemporary dance theater solo performed in her apartment for an audience of five to eight people. The piece was a fantasy version of Ricki, more male and more female, quicker to declare an opinion and quicker to change it. It premiered in 2010 and ran bi-weekly for three months. The award enabled Ricki to rehearse for four consecutive weeks in Fall 2009. In 2013 she was featured in CityArts magazine.
