About

Satpreet Kahlon was born in India, raised in Chicago, and received her BFAs (studio art and art education) from Michigan State University in 2011. Her work has since then been exhibited extensively, most recently in a small group show at SOIL Gallery in Seattle, WA. Satpreet was given the ArtBridge Fellowship from Pratt Fine Arts Center for 2016. She currently lives in Seattle, where she combines her love for art and social justice by running youth programming in partnership with the Seattle Art Museum.

Satpreet received GAP 2016 funding for a residency at Twilight Gallery and a solo show at METHOD Gallery that showcased over a hundred hand-piped porcelain vessels created after collecting and compiling oral histories from women of color.
