About

Siang Hui Tay is a multiple-award-winning film director with a passion for telling human-interest stories in an array of genres — documentary features, shorts, reality TV, docudramas and infotainment series. She has produced and directed more than 25 productions over 14 years in the industry, including the internationally-acclaimed Olympian-themed documentary, Little Big Dreams. Some of her accolades include a New York Festival Gold Medal, International CINE Golden Eagle Awards, the Asian Television Awards, and the Singapore Star Awards. Siang Hui is working on a global multimedia project, Dreams Unlimited to document, share and inspire dreams.

Siang Hui received a 2014 GAP to pay artist fees for researching, writing, directing, videography, illustration and editing Dreams Unlimited (DU) Web Series Season 2. DU Season 2 showcases five artists in Washington State who are living their dreams of creating art. The series shows how these five artists’ lives had experienced a turnaround because of art; and how they in turn used their art to impact others. The web series consist of five episodes, each eight to 10 minutes long.
