About

William Pikakelowna Passmore is an indigenous Glass artist from the Colville Indian Reservation. He is a member of the Okanagan and Arrowhead Lakes band Tribes. He uses glass and found object to connect with his heritage.

He graduated from the 3D4M program at the university of Washington in 2015 he spent the next 9 years professionally working with glass to get a technical understanding of the medium.

In 2019 he approached Raya Friday about a mentorship program through the Burke Museum. They focused on connecting technical glass skills with Native Heritage.

2021-2024 working with, through, and for the Pilchuck glass school. I completed a fellowship program in 2021 and TA’d several classes as well as I have been teaching their Indigenous bead making workshop.
