About

Wynter Rhys is a Director, Creative Consultant, and Writer with over a decade of experience in each. A Seattle native, Wynter specializes in rebranding strategy and speech writing, creatively managing diverse teams, and handling high-stakes and emotionally charged projects with both bravery and care. In 2021, Wynter served as a Creative Consultant, Lead Copywriter and Storyteller for The Clotilda Project in collaboration with The Smithsonian Museum, Africatown and Visit Alabama. Her films have garnered international attention, winning awards worldwide and screening at festivals such as the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Nashville Film Festival, and the National YoungArts Foundation. After being awarded the sole Frances Larkin McCommon Full-Tuition Scholarship to Savannah College of Art and Design, Wynter graduated with a BFA in Dramatic Writing. As a disabled Indigenous woman, Wynter now dedicates her life and career to telling the stories of the communities she serves and is a part of.
