About this Workshop
Join Artist Trust Program Manager Anna Teiche for a 2 hour workshop on all things finding, creating, and applying to opportunities to move your art career forward and get your work funded and out into the public. In this workshop, Anna will cover common types of opportunities available to artists, resources for finding them, and go over tips and tricks for putting together strong applications while managing your workload, time, and energy. She’ll also walk through tips for connecting and networking with galleries and spaces to show your work, and pointers for creating your own opportunities. You’ll leave with the resources and knowledge needed to find the opportunities you are looking for, and start preparing or revising your application materials to submit competitive applications.
This workshop is offered as part of the larger class series Public Art in Practice: Collaborative Creation & Community Engagement, organized and taught by Adair Rutledge of Photographic Center NW. You may register for this workshop individually at the registration link included above. If you choose to register for the Public Art in Practice series, you will automatically be enrolled in this workshop at no extra cost.
