About this Workshop
Starting a business can feel daunting, especially for artists, but it can also be important when selling work or services without gallery representation or other outside management. For those unsure of where to start or how to get organized, join Darren Guyaz, Senior Managing Business Advisor at Business Impact NW, for a one-hour workshop on starting an art business in WA. During the workshop, Darren will go over common business models, steps to take to get your business license, and the basics of managing and staying organized as an arts business owner. They will also cover free and low-cost resources available to artists for business management and leave you feeling prepared to begin the process of setting up your business.
Presented with support from Artists Up in partnership with City of Seattle Office of Arts and Culture and 4Culture.
