About this Workshop 

Join literary artist Lisbeth White for an overview of Artist Trust’s Grants for Artist Projects (GAP) application process. In this 1.5-hour workshop, you’ll learn about Artist Trust, the 2025 GAP awards, and how to apply. Lisbeth will break down the application components and share tips to help your application stand out. This event is presented in partnership with Centrum. 

About the Instructor 

Lisbeth White is an enchantivist writer based in the Pacific Northwest. She is the author of American Sycamore, winner of the Perugia Poetry Prize (Perugia Press, 2022), and co-editor, along with Tamiko Beyer and Destiny Hemphill, of the anthology Poetry as Spellcasting: Poems, Essays, and Prompts for Manifesting Liberation and Reclaiming Power (North Atlantic Books, 2023). Her nonfiction chapbook, A Most Natural Thing: An Elemental Memoir (Red Mare Press, 2025), was selected by Micheal Martone as winner of The Master’s Review Open Chapbook contest. She has received support for her work from Artist Trust, VONA, Callaloo, Tin House, Roots.Wounds.Words., The Watering Hole, and Bread Loaf Environmental Writers Conference as well as residencies with SeaSalted Honey, Blue Mountain Center and Bloedel Reserve. She is a 2025 Periplus fellow and is at work on her first novel.
