About this Workshop
Looking to deepen your arts business and tax knowledge in time for tax season this year? During this one-hour workshop, CPA Valerie Moseley will cover the ins and outs of Business & Occupation (B&O) taxes, Washington State Sales Tax, and touch on county and city-specific taxes depending on time and interest. Attendees will be invited to submit questions ahead of time, and we will do our best to answer as many as possible during the workshop!

About the Instructor
Valerie Moseley, CPA, helps small and growing businesses make smart tax decisions, strengthen their financial systems, and feel confident about their numbers. She runs VMCPA, a tax consultancy focusing on helping for-profit businesses and their owners optimize their tax results. With years of experience running tax practices and teaching for groups like the SBA, Artist Trust, Seattle Public Library, and more, she’s known for breaking down complex tax rules into clear, practical guidance that you can actually use. When not nerding out on taxes and accounting, you can typically find Valerie on the kickball field or the improv stage.
