ABOUT THIS WORKSHOP 

Join artist and arts administrator Rosie Saldana for an overview of Artist Trust’s Grants for Artist Projects (GAP) application process. In this 1.5-hour workshop, you’ll learn about Artist Trust, the 2026 GAP awards, and how to apply. Rosie will break down the application components and share tips to help your application stand out. This event is presented in partnership with Mezcla Collective and Larson Gallery. 

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR

Rosie Saldana is an artist, tattoo artist and Art Educator at Heritage University located in Toppenish, Washington. She is a proud Chicana and is inspired by her family, history and her culture. Through her art she hopes to reclaim space and a voice for people who are not often depicted or respected in our society. Rosie Primarily works with acrylics but also does work in oil and watercolor mediums. She is passionate about the small art community currently evolving in Yakima County and hopes to help create more spaces and opportunities specifically for the celebration and appreciation for artists of color.
