ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR

Devonte T.S Pearson is a Spokane-based artist, entrepreneur, and Program Director at Spokane Arts, working at the intersection of culture, community, and business. As T.S The Solution, he delivers conscious lyricism and introspective storytelling rooted in manhood and the Black experience. He has served on grant and film panels—including Artist Trust’s Arts Innovator Award, Spokane Arts Grant Awards, and the Spokane International Film Festival—and has spoken at universities on representation, local culture, and navigating arts funding. A Spokane Arts Leadership Award recipient, Pearson also developed Spokane’s only audio engineering internship program through Panoramic Dreams Recording and co-produces the Root Experience, a BIPOC-centered festival celebrating living cultures.
