ABOUT THIS WORKSHOP:
In this workshop, CPA Valerie Moseley will share highlights about filing city, county, state and federal taxes. Shell review the different taxes you may be responsible for as an artist, explain what is and isn’t tax deductible, and offer record-keeping tips. If you’ve received grants, work as a teaching artist, or were paid for your artistic work, this workshop is for you.

*Open for artists of all disciplines at all career stages.

– Federal: self-employment tax
– City: business licenses and B&O tax
– County: property taxes
– Record keeping tips for future filings

REFUNDS & CANCELLATIONS
Artist Trust reserves the right to cancel any program. If cancelled, a full refund will be applied. If a participant needs to cancel for a paid program, the following policy will apply:

A full refund can be issued through Brown Paper Tickets if notified 5 days prior to the program date.

A transfer credit of equal or lesser value can be issued (through Artist Trust) if notified within 48 hours of program. Credit will be valid for up to 12 months.

Artist Trust cannot provide refunds for missed classes. Please contact the coordinator if you have any questions regarding specific content of the workshop.

These refund policies are in place because workshops have limited space and this is intended to ensure we are able to offer the space to another attendee if notice is provided far enough in advance.
