This three-part workshop is led by Attorney Benjamin David Kerr of the Kerr Law Firm based in Seattle, WA. This series of talks will address topics related to the business side of an art practice. Artists will be led through important discussions related to running an art-focused business and will gain a deeper understanding of how to protect your practice, advocate for yourself and set your business up for success! Topics include artist contracts, intellectual property (specifically copyright) and business entity formation.About the Instructor
