ABOUT THIS WORKSHOP
Getting your work out into the world is an important part of building your audience as an artist, and it’s easier than ever before with social media and platforms like Etsy and YouTube. But the work you share is still yours, so you should know your rights and what to do if your work is used without your permission.
This workshop, led by attorney Benjamin Kerr, covers intellectual property, including copyright, trademarking, and work-for-hire agreements. You’ll learn what can and cannot be copyrighted and trademarked, how to register, what constitutes fair use, and what to do if your copyright is violated.
