About This Workshop
Understanding of your finances and financial goals are essential to your success as an artist. This one-hour workshop is designed to empower artists to take control of their personal finances and set themselves up for a prosperous 2023. Join Financial Advisors Xingdi Zhou and KC Herren who will lead attendees through the following:

  • Planning around erratic income
  • Creating a monthly budget
  • Building an emergency fund
  • Establishing long-term financial goals

This workshop is open to artists of all disciplines and career stages.

About the Instructors

Xingdi Zhou is a Financial Advisor and Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) with The Atkins Group. As a new immigrant from Shanghai, she moved to the states/Seattle with her American husband in 2018. Xingdi joined Baird in 2019 as a Foundation Associate helping internal teams with process and business development. She comes to us with more than twenty years of experience in China as commercial/investment banker and received her CFP designation in 2021. Xingdi will focus on servicing existing clients, enhancing holistic wealth planning, and providing value to a wide range of clients.

Xingdi holds Bachelor of Arts from Wuhan University and MBA from China Europe International Business School. She loves to travel, having been to all seven continents. She is a Vipassana meditator and a self-taught watercolorist. In addition to English, Xingdi is a native speaker of Mandarin.

KC Herren is a Financial Advisor with The Atkins Group in Seattle. KC specializes in client relationship management, investment planning, and portfolio construction for the team.

Prior to Baird, KC enjoyed a six-year professional baseball career with the Texas Rangers, where he was introduced to the Financial Services Industry. After baseball, KC graduated from the University of Washington’s Foster School of Business and began his wealth management career at another Seattle area firm. He joined the Atkins Group in 2018.
