ABOUT THIS WORKSHOP
Contracts are vital for you as an artist. They protect you and your work and prevent disagreements about responsibilities, timelines, and compensation. Contracts can also be dense and confusing, filled with jargon that can be hard to understand without a law degree.

In this workshop, attorney Benjamin Kerr provides an overview of contracts and their key components and terms. He’ll discuss legal requirements, licensing agreements, and other important issues for artists to keep in mind. By the end of this workshop, you’ll understand why it’s important to get any agreement in writing and how to do it.

*Open for artists of all disciplines at all career stages.
