About this Workshop
Understanding contracts is vital for you as an artist. Contracts protect you and your work, prevent disagreements, and outline responsibilities, timelines and compensation. They can also be dense, confusing and filled with legal jargon. In this workshop, attorney Benjamin David Kerr provides an overview of contracts, key components, and basic terms. He will discuss legal requirements, licensing agreements and other important issues for artists to consider. This workshop is open to artists of all disciplines.
