The Foundwork Artist Prize is an unrestricted $10,000 juried grant to be awarded in October, 2019 to an outstanding US-based artist chosen on Foundwork, a new platform connecting artists and collaborators across the global contemporary art community. The winner will also receive a studio visit with each of the five jurors to cultivate a dialogue around the winner’s practice. In addition, two runners up will each receive free lifetime accounts on Foundwork.
To participate, an artist must be a US resident and create an artist profile on Foundwork with at least five published artworks by September 1, 2019. The selection process will take place in September and the winner will be announced in October 2019. Visit www.foundwork.art/signup to register.
The jury for the inaugural Foundwork Artist Prize will be comprised of the five members of Foundwork’s Advisory Board, all leading art professionals serving in a number of critical roles across the field:
