Plein Air Washington Artists (PAWA) Annual Winter Exhibition is open for submissions. This year Plein Air Washington Artists (PAWA) is hosting its Annual Juried 2020 Winter Exhibition online. This exhibition will be judged and awarded by nationally known artist Dave Santillanes. Dave is known for his plein air landscapes, teaches across the North American continent and has received numerous accolades for his plein air and studio-based landscape works.

Due to the challenging conditions of the Covid-19 restrictions we have broadly opened the parameters of this exhibition to accommodate the wide range of works created by PAWA members this year. Each artist may submit up to three paintings. They may consist of any combination of plein air and/or studio paintings, works created for the PAWA Virtual Paint-Outs, the regional Pop-Ups and indoor or outdoor still life. All works submitted for jurying into the show must be available for sale.

We are pleased to inform you that the Annual Winter Exhibition book which contains all submitted entries, will be available online for sale during the show.

ENTRY DEADLINE: Nov 1, 2020 at midnight

ACCEPTANCE NOTICE: November 12, 2020

ONLINE SHOW DATES: December 4, 2020 – January 31, 2021

OPENING RECEPTION AND AWARDS PRESENTATION VIA ONLINE WEBINAR: 

Saturday, December 5, 2020 from 4PM to 5PM
DAVE SANTILLANES DEMO: December 12, 2020, time TBA EXHIBITION CLOSING: January 31, 2021
