The Sarah Spurgeon Gallery at Central Washington University, located in Ellensburg, Washington, will host the biennial INTERSTATE juried exhibit. The exhibition is open to all media and subject matter; the artwork does not need to follow a particular theme.
Proceeds from this national exhibition will support student scholarships in the CWU Department of Art + Design. The juror for the 2023 INTERSTATE exhibition is Stefano Catalani, the Executive Director and Chief Curator of the Museum of Northwest Art in La Conner, Washington.
The exhibit is open to artists over the age of 18 working in 2-dimensional, 3-dimensional, and video formats. The awards include: First place, $700; second place, $500; third place, $300; and three honorable mentions.
