Sidney Art Gallery is hosting the 50th annual Helen Norris Open Art Show – open to all artists in six categories – oil/acrylic, watercolor, drawing (including pastel, charcoal, pen and ink, etc.), photography, mixed media 2d and mixed media 3d (mixed media includes collage, fiber art, pottery, or anything that is a combination of the other categories). Two entries at $10 each. Work must be original and hanging artwork must be ready to hang with wire. First place winners in each category share a show in January of 2022 called the Winners Circle. Judge for 2021 is Juan Rodriguez. There will be a video made of the entries and decisions of the judge. Depending on COVID restrictions there may be a reception late in June on a date to be determined. Entries must be submitted the last week of April by making an appointment to bring the work to the Sidney Art Gallery. Pick up will be the last week of June.
