For this Call for Art, Mona Niko Gallery is seeking work that that has been liberated from the restriction of classification or category. We are seeking art that does not attempt to symbolize or stand for an accurate depiction of a visual reality but instead use pattern, shape, line, color texture, gestural marks or composition to achieve an effect.
Works can be Acrylic, Airbrush, Assemblage, Charcoal, Color Pencil, Collage, Digital Art, Drawings, Encaustic, Fiber Art, Graphite, Illustration, Mixed Media, New Media, Oil, Painting, Pastel, Photography (Traditional and Digital), Sculpture, and Watercolor.
