Allied Arts is accepting applications for the 2nd Annual Heliotrope Arts ‘Xtravaganza: an artistic invasion of the Heliotrope Hotel by Whatcom County artists, performers and creative community organizations.

In celebration of 40 years of community arts, Allied Arts of Whatcom County invites the community to wander the hotel grounds, listen to music, participate in immersive art experiences, sip beverages and eat their way through food trucks.

Artists aren’t given the keys of their rooms until a few hours before people begin showing up. Rooms can vary from performances to installations to having items on display for sale.

We encourage all artists of any level or medium to apply to be a participating artist. Applications can be filled out online at www.alliedarts.org. The deadline for applications is August 26th, 2020.
